Cheryl has focused her photography on capturing images in Black and White. 

Her work was originally produced with film and is now mainly digital format photography.  The natural world is the main focus of her recent work.  Cheryl explores the specialized structural organization of plant and animal materials and their unique patterns.  A high resolution scanner was used to produce The Bones Series. 

The urban landscape is explored through the Mannequin Series.

Cheryl has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto and has studied photography at George Brown College in Toronto.

Her freelance work includes, book covers, author’s portraits, music events, and children’s books. 

Cheryl served as the Chair of the Silent  Auction for SNAP, The  Contemporary Photographic Fundraiser for the AIDS Committee of Toronto from 2012-2018

Cheryl has served on the several  jury panels, including the Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition 2017, and the OLTA OurLand@150 Youth Photography Competition and the Riverdale Art Walk. Cheryl also judges for photography clubs in the Toronto area.
